Why are there so many banned license plates in Utah?

As in all other states, the Utah government is in charge of vanity plate issuance. You may check our articles about New York or Oregon rejected licenses. When requesting a personalized pattern, you need to fill out an application.

The body which administers and manages the whole process is the Division of Motor Vehicle of Utah. They get your applications and check if your combination does not go against the standards and rules of the state. So, it is important to know the main standards before applying for a vehicle number.
